W. Blaser AG manufactured Lento patient recliner chairs for Insel Gruppe operating\u00a0<\/strong>the COVID vaccination centre on the\u00a0Inselcampus\u00a0on behalf of the Canton of Bern. The Swiss manufacturer of\u00a0medical chairs<\/a>\u00a0contributes\u00a0to expanding the fleet of chairs in the vaccination centre.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today is Wednesday, 24th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2021. The Blaser team is in front of the temporary building on the\u00a0Inselcampus\u00a0at\u00a0Friedb\u00fchlstrasse 15. The building, where COVID vaccinations have been carried out since 11 January 2021, was erected in mid-December 2020 within a record-breaking three weeks. At 1:30 p.m., the unloading is starting. From 1:45 p.m., the\u00a0patient chairs Lento<\/a>\u00a0are part of the vaccination centre\u2019s fleet and can be used by visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rapid production and delivery of the\u00a0patient recliner chairs Lento<\/a>\u00a0was possible thanks to the successful cooperation between the project management and coordination teams of W. Blaser\u00a0AG\u00a0and Insel Gruppe.\u00a0Visitors can now\u00a0sit in a relaxed and comfortable position\u00a0during their vaccination appointments. Each chair is equipped with the antimicrobial hygiene function Sanitized\u00ae and\u00a0thus it has a long-term protection\u00a0against bacteria, bad odours and biofilm, which is particularly important in view of the current situation. The sitting position of the chair can be easily adjusted. The folding armrests are covered with hardwearing, antibacterial, high-quality artificial leather. Lento combines decades of production experience,\u00a0which has its manifestation in high functionality and attractive design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Production of Patient Recliner Chairs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The planning and production of the Lento patient chairs took place\u00a0just\u00a0within two weeks.\u00a0Thanks to\u00a0the agility as well as the well-rehearsed processes at W. Blaser AG,\u00a0chairs for the medical use<\/a>\u00a0with high demands on durability and functionality can be produced within a very short time. Lukas Graf, the owner and Managing Director of W. The Blaser chairs went through several production phases \u2013 from bending individual frame tubes and soldering the chair frames together, finishing the frames in a nickel and chrome bath to final assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
